End date is not updated in Resource Assignment view through PWA

I have a resource has assignement as the follows

Task 1-> 3rd Dec - 7th Dec, 100%, Work=5d
Task 2-> 10th Dec-14th Dec, 100%, Work = 5d.

Since this resource will not be working on task 2, I zeroed out the
remaining work of 5d for task 2 and hence Work also becomes 0d as
there's no Acutal yet. I've also put 0% for unit in task information,
Resoruce tab. For the Physical completion and % completion column, I
put 100%.

All changes published and re-ran the cube. Now, through PWA ->
Resources->view resource assignment. the end date for this particular
resource is still 14th Dec rather than 7th Dec.

What do I need to do so that it picks up the updated end date as Work
has been zeroed out for that resources.

What you're doing here is kind of strange. Why wouldn't you simply delete
this assignment after closing out the work? I could understand the behavior
you are seeing if this is an assignment to a Fixed-duration task. The way
you are approaching this you are saying that the resource completed a zero
work task as planned.

If I delete this task or even just remove the resource from this task,
I will loss the baseline value associated with this task. This in fact
is a work around to avoid lossing baseline, but then we found out it
would cause roll off date to be less accurate.

Also, the task type is "fixed unit".

Any other suggestions?
