I have Office 2003. When I go into Word, the page does no have an end
-of-document marker. How can I activate this marker?

Thank you.

There is no specific end-of-document marker in Word; there are just
paragraph marks (one for each paragraph). To display paragraph marks,
along with the other nonprinting marks, press Ctrl+Shift+8 (or click
the ¶ button on the Standard toolbar). Alternatively, if you want only
the paragraph marks, click Options on the Tools menu. Click the View
tab. Under "Formatting marks," check the "Paragraph marks" option, and
clear the other options (including "All").

Oh, yes, that little horizontal line! So it has a name? :)

The end of document line is visible only in Normal View and Outline view.
Try switching to one of these.

Thanks for responding, Gregg. I put Word in Normal view and the End-of-page
marker showed.

Thanks for your comments, Stefan. There is an end-of-page marker, also. Go to
View and click Normal. I believe clicking Outline will also make the
end-of-page marker show. It's a small, horizontal bar that appears at the end
of your document.
