End User Agreement Page Reloads?

R

Regis Hadiaris

I have experienced this on several machines I am trying
to configure for MS Project Server Web Acccess...

The user logs in using Windows Authentication, is
redirected to the "accept the license agreement page,"
checks the box, and clicks next. The license agreement
page reloads. And these steps repeat.

All machines have XP Pro, Office XP, Office Web
Components, and MDAC 2.8. IE is configured to have the
Project Server Web Site as a trusted site with the low
security settings selected.

I think this may be related to our firewall, but I'm not
sure. If it is, I'm not sure what ports to open.

Any ideas?

This may not be the same problem we had but it is exactly
the same symptom. Any chance you have more than one
server going? I have two, one for testing. I had
received a hot-fix from MS and had neglected to apply it
to both servers but only to one. Part of the fix was
newer versions of the two controls that MSPS loads into
IE. Once this was resolved (by applying fix to test
machine) and the controls dropped so they reloaded all
was well.

To drop the controls go to Internet Properties/Settings
(button)/View Objects (button) and remove Pj10enuC Class
and PjAdoInfo2 class. This will cause a reload of these
objects.

In fact, try this anyway. You may just have some corrupt
controls.

Hope this helps.
