Endnote Bibliography for Masterdocument

I try to get Endnote to create a bibliography for all the
subdocuments in my Masterdocument, but seem to get only a
bibliography for the last subdocument.
In order to create a bibliography, in which view does the
MAsterdocument have to be. Do the subdocuments have to be
extended and do they all have to have the formatting
option of Endnote enabled?
Or what is the secret of getting a bibliography for a
Masterdocument?
