Endnote placement - neither at end of section nor at end of document

How can you make endnotes appear in a particular location
in a document? I'm finishing writing an academic book
manuscript, and the notes need to be placed before the
bibliography. I can't find any way to make Word do this.

If you are using Word 2001 or after, set endnotes to come at end of the
section, then check suppress endnotes (under File | Page Setup, Layout) for
every section except the one you want them to follow. If you are using Word
2000 or earlier, post back for a macro solution.
