Endnote Problem

I have a hundred documents, many of which have endnotes
marked for the end of the section. Of these, several
refuse to place the endnotes anywhere but at the end of
the document.

Any advice?

Go to the Layout tab of Page Setup for any given section and make sure that
"Suppress endnotes" is not checked.
