Endnote still isn't working properly

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I downloaded the Word 2008 update from the Endnote site and now have the Endnote menu in the Tools menu. Every time I try to reformat my bibliography, however, Word crashes. I see that it is recommended to scan the document as an .rtf file but I can't seem to find that option in Endnote.

It's working well for me without problem but I may just be lucky.
Mind if I ask a few questions?

1) have you fully updated Office 2008? (I'm running 12.1.1)
2) have you fully updated OSX? (I'm running 10.5.4)
3) are you using Endnote X1?
4) did you install the CWYW patch from Endnote? (Your posting
indicates you did - its at: http://www.endnote.com/support/CWYW_Word_2008.asp).
5) are you trying to use keyboard shortcuts? - the patch does not
allow keyboard shortcuts - you must use the menu commands.
