Endnotes before bibliography

Dear all,

my problem is the endnotes always occur behind the bibliography, but the bibliography should be the last thing in the document. Furthermore, I want the endnotes grouped in chapters, e.g. 15 endnotes in chapter one, 8 in chapter 2 and so on...

Any clue how to manage this???

Many thanks in advance!

I believe this will answer your question - you'll just have to do a little
translation from the Win-Speak language :)

hi it's me again.
the bibliography is now on the right place. But still I have problems with the endnotes that I can't group them into different chapters e.g. for the second chapter I like the endnotes to start again with no 1. I already changed the setting to restart at each section, instead of continuous numbering.
thanks a lot for any information!

Have you actually separated your chapters by inserting Section Breaks? Or
are you just arbitrarily referring to each chapter as a "section"?

Dear Bob,

thanks for your hints. It's still a bit complicated. What I need is the bibliography at the very end of the document. Now I have it like this - perfect. The endnotes should be placed before the bibliography - but all togehter ordered via chapters like this:

End of Documents

Endnotes
Chapter 1:
Endnote 1
Endnote 2
Endnote x
....
Chapter 2:
Endnote 1
Endnote 2
Endnote x
.....
Chapter X:
Endnote 1
Endnote 2
Endnote x
....

Bibliography

In order to place the bibliography at the very end of the document I followed the instructions of the link you've sent me that means I used a section break and supressed endnotes and re-supressed them for "this section" where I need the endnotes.
But if I now place another section break to make clear that it is another chapter, word put all the endnotes for chapter 1 directly after chapter 1. But I need the endnotes all together just before the bibliography (see above).

Again - so grateful for any help.

Desperately,
Bibbi
