Ok, I have 2 documents that appear to be identical (no endnotes in
them). For this document, I verify that my settings for the Endnote
are: End of Section, Number format as 1, 2, 3, . . , Numbering is set
to Restart each section, and Apply changes to This section.
For each document, I test it by inserting documents containing
endnotes (with same formatting rules). Also, at the end of the text
in the endnote documents, I have a continuous section break.
In one of my documents (the original created by someone else), I can
insert 2 documents containing endnotes, and they do not look correct.
All endnotes gather at the bottom of the new document.
In the other document I created (but appears to have 100% identical
formatting), I can insert the 2 documents containing the endnotes, and
they LOOK GOOD!
Finally, here's the only difference I see. After doing Insert File
(in the good document) for the first endnote document, the cursor goes
all the way after the endnotes, waiting for the next insert.
If I'm in the one that doesn't seem to work, and I insert the endnote
document, the cursor goes above the endnotes (after the section
break).
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE AND HOW CAN I FIX IT!?
Thanks!
