english spelling to US spellings

in powerpoint it keeps trying to change 'organise' to 'organize' when I spell
check, despite computer and microsoft tools being set to uk spellings. help.

I believe it has to do with which language setting you have selected in your
Control Panel, Regional and Language settings.

I believe PPT uses the keyboard language by default. You may want to check
that your keyboard is set for UK English.

You can use code to change all the textboxes in a presentation to UK English
as well.
