Enhanced Metafile Resolution

In Visio 2003, Save As... in EMF (enhanced metafile) format apparently
creates a file with 96 dots per inch (dpi) resolution. Its resolution can be
confirmed in File Explorer by right-clicking the file and selecting
Properties, then clicking the Summary tab of the Properties window. The EMF
files saved by a friend using Visio 2003 always report 96 dpi. When I save
them with my Visio 2003 they always report 81 dpi, but I have determined
empirically they are actually 96 dpi. Can anyone explain this? Are there any
settings in Visio 2003 related to this?
