Enter date

Hello,

I want to enter the current date into a field in a form
by hitting a keystroke like control semicolon. This
keystroke works in excel but it does not seem to work in
access. Anybody know how to enter current date in field
with a keystroke(s)?

control semicolon is the keystroke(s) or chord used to enter the date.
