Hi, I need to enter the same text (not a formula) in a column of cells. How do I do this?

Thanks, I rarely use Excel, and I couldn't find a reference to this ... probably because it's so easy!

Enter it into one cell, copy the cell, select the other cells then paste.

Alternatively, type it into a cell then drag the Fill Handle (lower right
corner of the cell selector) to copy to the other cells.

Just another alternative:

Select the range. Enter the text in one cell, then use CTRL-RETURN to
enter the constant in each cell in the range.
