Entering a Formula

I have no experience w/ Access.

I need to enter this formula into a new field but do not know how. Could
someone walk me through it.

Mid(yourfield,5,2)

Carl,
Are you trying to do that in a table? If so, it won't work. You can use that
function in a query, form, report, or in VBA code.
