Entering Actula Start and FInish Date

In PWA, it is possible to enter the % of work completed.
But my resource hasn't started the work on a specified date but has started
late and completed it late.
When I just give Update, in MS Project the actual start and End date is the
same as Start and Finish.
In PWA, how do my resources enter the actual start and Finish date of
project and how do I as administrator of project update the actual start and
finish for the project.
