Entering exact start time and Outlook

J

Jan van Eyck

Hi,

Does anyone of you know whether it is possible to connect
a time to a start date? I have now the Outlook Add-in
working, so my tasks show up in my Calender, but
unfortunately it shows up at 8:00 i.s.o. the time I
actually want it to be scheduled.

Any help appreciated.

Jan:

It takes the start time given in the project. Change the start time in
project and it should change in Outlook.

That I understand, but the thing is more like this...
I enter meetings in Project Server like "briefing design"
and then assign it to 2 people. I would like to enter the
exact time they have to sit together, i.e. 13:00 hrs
i.s.o. that Project decided for me that they have to sit
early in the morning. This would be extremely useful if
external customers, f.i., are involved.
What now happens is that I import assignments in Outlook.
It shows up as early as possible in the morning, and then
I manually change it to the right time. When I press
update Project however, it shows the original time again,
so basically, I have to keep a double agenda.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Jan,

Try Tools/Options.../View tab - and select a Date format that includes
