Entering standard and overtime hours in Project Server

Ritu

I have been trying un sucsessfully to get a new row in
the Timesheet to enter overtime hours, I have set it up
in the resource usage graph in Project and in Project
Server changed the settings to show overtime hours but it
is appearing as as column in the left hand side of the
timesheet, it needs to also apper as a row to enter hours
on the right hand side of the timesheet. I using project
2002.

Has anyone done this??

Ritu:

You can't add columns to the right side of the timesheet, but you don't need
to add a column to collect overtime work as this feature is built-in.
Instead, in the View my tasks view, go to View Options tab and click the
checkbox to show overtime work. Resources must each do this for themselves.
Once done, everyone can enter overtime work and charge it to a specific
task.
