Entering Time for Task Not Started

I wondered if there is any way to enter time for a task whose start date has
not yet arrived? We frequently have folks who work on tasks in advance of
the actual scheduled start date and it is a bit of a problem for us. Thanks
for your help.

You can certainly enter time against future tasks in PWA. This is known as
"out of sequence progress" and it is allowable under one condition: the
progress must be entered in the current reporting period. This will cause
the task to start early, which by the way is what really did happen. Hope
this helps.
