enterprise 2007

I have this program on Win xppro(sp2).Everytime i would like to use the
program it informs me that the "configer proces" has started. This can take
upto 2 minutes to do than it lets me in the office program.
What have I done wrong / am I missing or what?
I did try to "re-installand I have written MS But they are no help and just
pass the buck to here.
Can anybody halp this old fart and correct this nussence

Office 2007 Enterprise is a Volume/Enterprise license only Edition. May I inquire from whom you acquired this edition?

My daughter bought it for me and according to MS(I did give them the #) it is
a valid issue. Thank you

Yes Milly, I am the only one using my computer and after I do get the notice
of configeration I just let it do its thing and get coffee. But if I change
from ie Word to Excel the waiting starts again
