Enterprise Custom fields (PWA & Project Prof edit)

Should Enterprise Custom fields values transfer between PWA and Project
Professional? If I edit an ECF (e.g. Health) in My Tasks on PWA and submit
the task, upon opening the task (and applying the update after reviewing and
noticing the change, e.g. Health changed to "Completed") in Project
Professional the values are not transferred (e.g. Health stays "Not
Specified"). This is similar the other way around; editing ECF in Project
Professional and publishing does not change the values in PWA.

I can't believe that this is as intended ?! Any insight?

Ok, I figured it has to do with the roll down "Calculation for Assignment
Rows" setting.

Anyone successfull in rolling changes back up again?

Franklin,

2003 or 2007? When you do Collaborate / Publish, which option are you
choosing? Which fields get published when you publish? Go to Tools /
Customize / Published Fields and see what it says there... It should
definitely work both ways. But you have to open the custom fields in
Project Pro for data entry in PWA with the Project Pro interface
mentioned above - I think you've done that, by the fact that you were
able to enter data in them in PWA - but just making sure... Also:
Custom Fields or Outline Codes?
