Enterprise Cutom Fields in Templates

Is there any reason why a enterprise custom field value would not show in the
template at the task level after it had been saved and then pulled to create
a project plan?

In project 2007 there is a reason. Enterprise custom fields have issues with
synchronization between project server and project pro..
You might try deleting your project cache as a start. You should probably
double check the settings for the field via PWA

Hi CLos,

no 2003 works differently. Did you create the Task custom field after you
created the template? If so you will need to "update" your template. Open the
template ensure that you can access the task custom field either by inserting
it as a column or by using the task inforamtion dialog window. Update the
task with the task custom field and save the template as a template again (
overwrite the origninal one). Now your template should also contain the value
of the task custom field.
