Enterprise Global Template grayed out

Hi,
I have Project 2003 on my desktop and am trying to modify the
enterprise global template on Project Server 2002. I am able to view
the resource pool without a problem. I am an administrator on the
Project Server and have a correctly configured connection. Any idea why
the option is not available?

I had exactly the same problem and posted here last week. it appears that there is a script that you will need to run to update your 2002 sql db to be 2003 compatible.
if you are also the sql admin when you try to open a project from the server it will give you a warning and let you run the script from there but if like me you are not the sql admin it will not give you any note, warning, etc. just grey out the templates and also open all projects read-only.

I told my admin not to run the script today :=) as it is friday the 13th...
so i should be up and running monday.
