Enterprise Global Template - Moving from Server 2003 to 2007

Can the Enterprise Global Template saved from Server 2003 be successfully
uploaded in a new 2007 Server instance? Our configurations are standard, but
extensively tailored, and we would like to continue to use the same settings.
Please provide guidance if you have been successful in doing this. Thanks, Jan

Hi, Jan

The EGT mecansim is internally diffferent from 2003 to 2007,the only thing
would be to process afull migration, rather than the EGT. For instance
entreprise customed field cannnot be imported thru EGT.
Nevertheless if tables and gantt views do not have customed fields, then you
can retrieve them with an import to the 2007 Entreprise Global Template.
