Hi Peter
I have Office 2003 on my pc, I want to upgrade to Office 2007. I have the cd
for Office 2007. When I insert the cd and box appears and ask for my product
key which I enter, then it asks if I want to upgrade or custom, I select
upgrade. It starts searching and loading and about 10min into it a box
appears stating Setup cannot find Word.en-us\Word LR.cab. Then it stops and
will not let me download the office 2007 software.

Hello, i just found a solution. What i did was when it prompt the ''Setup
cannot find
Word.en-us\WordLR.cab' , eject out the disc , make sure you are in a
workgroup , share one of your workgroup computer cd/dvd drive and insert the
disc to this drive and try browse the file from there. It work for me. Good
luck!

First, I deleted all Microsoft Office programs. Second, I went to the
regedit function in the computer and deleted the Microsoft Office files
from H_KEY_CURRENT_USER *Software* and H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE *Software*.
Reboot and then install Office 2007. Worked seamlessly for me.

Firstsun, I'm having the same problem as durand and I haven't been able
to fix it... I would like to try your solution modifying the regedit,
alhtough I'm not sure which files I'm supposed to delete... could you
please specify?

Thanks in advance,
