Enterprise Options disabled on MS Project

S

Saj

1. I have set myself up as an administrator and Project
Manager, but I still cannot create an Enterprise project.

2. The menu items under Enterprise Options are disabled
(apart from MS Project Server Accounts)

3. Also when I try to connect thru MS Project i get a
message "Make Server Trusted" Even though i am on
intranet. (For security reasons i am not allowed to add
trusted sites)

Any help is appreciated?

Saj:

You must be able to add Project Server to Trusted Sites or it will not work.

I would add that you must enable the enterprise features.
In PWA, Admin / Manage Enterprise features
check "Enable Enterprise Features"

Also for trusted sites, sometimes you have to add them directly in IE. Go to
Tools / Internet Options, select the security tab and add the project server
in the\
Trusted Sites

I have the same problem. Went to IE and the wrong sites are trusted.
Tried changing them with no success (the old ones reappear). Any clues?

Thanks,

Belay that last request and note Dale Howard's excellent response on the 3rd
of November.
