Enterprise Projects/Resources from more than 1 Project Server inst

Hi,

My first time posting a question to this group....

We have two instances of Project server (one test / one live) running on two
seperate physical servers. Using Project Professional on one client and
changing default Project server account as and when necessary.

All of a sudden I cannot see the projects and enterprise resources on the
test server when I switch default Project Server account to test, close PP
and reconnect to test server.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated as I am looking to do a lot of
development/testing on the test server before even considering putting onto
the live.

Thanks,

Keith:

It's possible to paint yourself out of any functionality in Project Server.
I suggest that you logon using the built-in Administrator account to
diagnose the problems as it seems more immune to these problems. You'd have
list your log of changes made immediately before the last time you logged
out for anyone to guess what happened. Do you keep an activity log when
you're working on your configuration?

Gary,

That was indeed the problem.

I had inadvertently changed my user settings in PWA which meant that I no
longer had the rights to view existing enterprise projects through Project
Professional.

Many Thanks,

Keith
