Enterprise Resource Field 20? Multiple

M

Michael McGinley

I am assigning resources in Project Pro using "Project Server"
When I use the customize filters option, there are 2 field names for
"Enterprise Outline Code 20"
Example:
1.) ERO
2.) ERO-MV
I only would like to see "ERO-MV"

How can I get rid of the Single outline code view for this multi outline
field?

Thanks very much.

You can't. Enteprise Resource outline code 20 is a multi-value field and
you are seeing the default behavior of the tool. Remember to pick the MV
field if that is what you need to see. Hope this helps.

Thank you again Dale. Now I know I cannot do anything about it.
Unfortunately, it does leave room for end user confusion. The aspect I most
want to avoid.

Take care and thank again.

I would agree with you. The regular outline code 20 field is used to select
a single value, while the MV version of the field allows the selection of
multiple values. Because of this, we just have to pay special attention to
which field we include in Views, Tables, Filters, etc. Thanks for your
followup comments.

We use the single value to denote the primary item from the MV list for the
resource. For Language, the single value is their native language.
