Enterprise Resource Field value is lost

Hello,

Version: Project 2007.
1. I added a new Enterprise Resource Field ("Funding source")
2. Then I create a new project, create new Local resource and set
value to"Funding source" field.
3. Every time when I save project, value entered in "Funding source"
field is cleared.

Dear D. Tarasenkov,
are you using more than a language into pwa? to be simpler every custom
field that you create is "localized" this means that if you create it from a
en-us IE page and another user use pt-br there would be problems.

Are you in an multilanguage environment?

OK, I create a multilanguange lookup table, new enterprise resourse
field "FS2" that use this table, but still have the same problem.
If I create enteprise resource and set some value to FS2 field - all
works fine.
But If I use local resource: settining FS2 value in Project 2007 is
ok, when saving, value is lost :(

Please, help

Logon into PWA as Project administrator and create the custom field twice,
one for each language.
to do that you have to set IE with the desired language from tools -->
internet options --> languages
- the first one with one language
- the second one with the other language

Unfortunately,this not helps. I cannot create one field two times,
when I create it once, in en-US, for example, and swich to ru-RU, the
field already exists.
I create multilanguage lookup table using ProjTool app, but its still
not working, I cannot save lookup table value on Local Resource :(

Custom enterprise Resource fields are only used for enterprise resources in
the Enterprise Resource Pool. You cannot supply values for local resources
that you manually type in the Resource Sheet view of the project. Hope this
helps.
