Enterprise Resource Leveling

I have not been able to get my system to level resources when I am using enterprise resources. I can get them leveled if I do not use enterprise resources. I have tried setting priorities and that does not work. I am only using a single project at this point. Any ideas?

I have never seen the behavior you are describing. Given that fact, you
might ask your Project Server administrator to try the following steps to
troubleshoot the problem:

1. Open the Enterprise Resource Pool
2. Check out all resources
3. Right-click on the Type column header and then select Insert Column from
the shortcut menu
4. Select the Can Level field and click the OK button
5. Make sure the Can Level value is set to Yes for every resource
6. Save and close the Enterprise Resource Pool

Hope this helps.

Happiness and Joy! This is exactly the problem we've been experiencing
on our system.

Once again, the Google group comes to the rescue! Thanks a million,
Dale!

Dale,
Your explaination has helped me in solving my problem.

But, do I need to set 'can level' field to 'Yes', every time I add new
resource?
Or, is there any way to set it as default 'Yes' for every new resource?

I believe the "Can Level" field is set to Yes by default. Ask your Project
Server administrator to make sure this field is set to Yes for every
resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Hope this helps.
