Enterprise Resource Pool and PWA Resource Center

We have folks that are in Project Server Enterprise Resource Pool but do not
show up in the PWA Resource Center views. These folks have access to Web
timesheets, can see their tasks and enter actuals. As an admin, I can see
them if I go to "Adjust Actuals" in the Resource tab.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Kayaken,
If they have tasks then they must be part of the resource pool, and either
you cannot see them in the resource centre views because the views are
filtered or there is a security setting which is preventing you from seeing
them.

Kayaken:

You really need to state what version you're using along with the SP level!
Assuming that you're logging on to 2003 with Admin priveleges this sounds as
though these resources were not fully published, which can happen for a
number of reasons. I suggest that you open the affected resources from the
resource pool and make a minor change to the data for each one of them, then
save and close. This forces a republish. You can then go back and fix the
data you changed which will publish them one more time for good measure.
Unfortunately there's no publish menu item for resources.

Your assumptions are correct, I am using 2003 and logging in with Admin
privs. I'm on SP2 on both Project Pro and Server ( 11.2.2005.1801.15 Build ).
I tried changing the resources and saving. That did not work.

I then checked MSP_WEB_RESOURCES table, MSP_WEB_ASSIGNMENTS table and can
see my missing resources in those tables. Again, I can see them when I open
the enterprise resource pool in Pro and see them through PWA Adjust actuals.
I thought about just deleting them and letting the auto sync with Active
Directory take over, but they've got actuals in Server I don't want to lose.

Any other suggestions?

I was afraid you were going to say something like that. :) But, based on
your security suggestion I did play around with some settings. I added the
Enterprise Unique ID to the Resource Summary View and then went back to the
Resource Center and got a VBScript: PWA 2003 Error. Specifically, "may not
have the correct DSN configuration"
