Enterprise Resources not Appearing

I have 2 Project Managers who cannot see all of the
resources in the enterprise resource pool. There are
about 125 resources in the pool. The Project Managers are
in the group "Project Manager". When they use the "Build
Team from Enterprise" they only see resource names already
assigned to task in the project plan.

In both cases the projects had previous Project Managers.
I already had the new project managers "Republish" and
change ownership. This all seemed to work fine.

Does anyone know why they cannot see all of the resources
in the resource pool?

Hi RLynn,

Chances are, you have a PWA Category defined that does not allow PM's to see
the resource information they need.

1) Go to PWA->Admin->Manage Security->Categories.
2) Modify the category these PM's belong to (i.e. My Projects).
3) In the "Resources" section, you can select the "All Current and FUture
Resources in the Microsoft Project Server Database".

Once this is done, the PM will have the ability to see any resource in the
pool.
