Enterprise Resources

If you really need to do this you do it through the Project Web Access administration screen. Select the option on the left to clean up the project server database. Near the bottom of that screen is a button to select the resource that you want to delete.

Deleting a resource from the enterprise pool would also (likely) require removing actual data from project plans for work completed by that resource. This would screw up project reporting. It is therefore suggested that you NOT delete resources unless you're prepared for that.

Does anyone know how to delete a resource from the enterprise?

Thanks

Instead of deleting user accounts the recommended practice is to set the account to inactive. This way the user can no longer login or be used as a project resource but historical data is preserved.

We are getting an error when trying to add new resources to the resource
pool. One of the resources was deleted in AD. We were thinking of deleting
the resource however, he has actual work assigned / completed. We will have
several other resources deleted from AD so this could become an issue. Any
suggestions?

I don't see anywhere to delete resources only tasks and to do lists
concerning certian resources?
