Enterprise wide template

Hi
One of my clients have asked me to deploy a standard MS Word template so
that the only option the users get when opening Word is a document with the
company logo header and footer.

My first thought was to create a customised Normal.dot and a Normal.dotx ( a
small number of Office 2007 pc's) and deploy it via a logon script.

Research has shown that this is dangerous. So how can I achieve?

Many Thanks Peter W

It would be simpler to create a document template filename.dot and put a
link to that template on the user's desktop (via a log in script if you
wish). This will not affect the correct working of the users'
normal.templates (which you should not alter in this manner).
