Entire form is selected

Hi all,

I'm new to InfoPath, and will be posting a few questions here based on my
initial dive into the frey.

I'm designing InfoPath forms to be used on Tablet PCs.....interface is via a
stylus. A nasty little thing I've found is that if one misses picking an
option button, check box, text box, etc., and taps outside of the object,
then the entire form gets selected and the view shifts all the way to the top
of the form. This is a real pain if you're working on a lower section of the
form.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Thanks much,

Kent

This is because 1 of 2 things:

1) You have a repeating section around your main form body. This cannot be avoided.

2) You have a section around your form and inside that section you have one or more repeating items. The repeating items need to be contained inside another section to prevent their command menu from bubbling up to your main form section -- which is where the blue selection is coming from.

I installed the service pack and it's cured the problem. It also added a
nice feature in that one can input script text with the tablet directly into
text boxes.

Sweet!
