Entire project moves back in time

I created a project plan of about 200 lines in MS Proj 2003. The plan start
date is 20/03/07 and the project start date is 02/04/07 end date 10/09 . So
far so good

When I mail the project plan to one or two of my collegues and ask them to
review the project plan, the dates have moved to 2006 to 2008.

Can anyone answer. I am running MS Proj 2003 + SP2 on my machine, but even
before then I saw this issue.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Firstly, a project starts on the Project Start Date detailed in
Project/Project Information. Project cannot handle 2 different start
dates - which is correct?

Then we will need more detail. Does this always happen with all your
colleagues? What versions of Project are they running? Does this happen
with other projects or just this one? In what form are you emailing the
project - a zipped project file, PDF file or what?
