Entourage 11.2.4 quits (after DB Rebuild)

Henry Seiden

After rebuild the DB due to an issue I was troubleshooting with Entourage's
mail component (spam filtering with SpamSieve), Entourage rebuilt OK and I
verified the DB integrity also.

When I next booted up Entourage it did it's thing for a while, then I got my
normal email window, the Identity said it was rebuilt and it began working
on Contacts (I saw a progress bar at the bottom of the screen), then it got
weird.

Now the only way Entourage stays running is to work off line. If its on long
enough on-line, it quits the same way. It isn't crashing when it retrieves
mail, just when it does something (can't figure out what) with contacts, or
other internal housekeeping. All I did was restart Entourage. After the
first crash, I tried the following:
1. Verified the DB again.
2. Shut down and restarted Entourage.
3. Reinstalled Office Update 11.2.4.
4. Deleted all messages marked for deletion (in the deleted items folder).
5. Deleted Junk messages (in the Junk Mail folder).

My machine:
MBP (Mac Book Pro) dual core 2.0GHz, 190GB drive, 1 GB RAM

Entourage simply crashed with no notification. Here's the Console Log:

I think it's related to Project connections. If the project connections to
the server are not enabled, as in not allowing connections to the server the
program no longer crashes. This has been a weak point in Entourage for me at
least in the past.

Nothing has changed on the server side, I have another machine using the
server running the same version of Entourage with no trouble, so I'm at a
loss to understand it.
