Entourage 2001 low memory error message

I permanently get low memory error messages from Entourage 2001 although
there is enough memory to run the program. Most functions are then disabled
and I have to close Entourage and restart again.

Maybe someone knows what's wrong!? It's really annoying...

Mac OS 9.2.2, RAM 320MB, Entourage 2001

Quit entourage, select the application's icon in the finder and do a 'get
info' on it. There you will see a couple of boxes for upping the memory
allocation that entourage will request from the system. Set the 'preferred'
memory allocation up to around 25mb.

This should help considerably.
