Entourage 2004 email

Help...I recieved an email yesterday at 10.59am from (e-mail address removed) before clicking on the email there was a pop up window in relation to entourage 2004 which I dismissed as I am already on 2004 and in the background was the usual layout of inbox etc down the left hand side but the only email was the one from microsoft.

All my old emails, notes, addresses and folders are nolonger visible or anyway to be found please can any one help me with this data recovery and confirm if this email is legitimate.

That means something has happen to your Office 2004 Identities folder (or
its contents, such as the subfolder Main Identity). This is most often the
result of user action: someone renames it, moves it, or deletes it without
realizing how important it is. When this happens, Entourage "helpfully"
creates a new identity, which has just what you saw.

The solution is to quit all Office apps, find the original Office 2004
Identities folder, and put it back where it belongs
(inside [your user name]/Documents/Microsoft User Data/)
I hope you can find the original or a backup of it. Search for a file called
"Database" or "Mailing Lists".
