Hello,
I have switched from Office 2004 English to Office 2004 Japanese. I
didn't know that you can not export data from the same version of
Entourage (ie. 2004 -> 2004). So, I tried all the tricks in the
threads here about adding the old "identity" folder into the new
"identities" folder and switching users inside the Entourage program.
When I do this it allows me select the old identity folder, but instead
of accessing the data, it creates new data in Japanese (Signature,
Rules, Database, Mailing List.) When I look in the old folder it now
has 2 Signatures, rules, database and mailing lists; one in English and
one in Japanese).
I think the problem is the Japanese version doesn't like the English
identity folder. Any ideas on how i can access this old English data
and get it into the currently running Japanese version? Do I need to
do an uninstall?
