Bill,

Using Microsoft Entourage 10.1.4? Is this not 2004?
Checked Holidays file as text and dates are from 2003 to 2007.
Tried to create custom Holidays file, was unsuccessful as per missing
manual directions

Entourage 10.1.4 (the latest is 10.1.9, by the way) is part of Office X,
which is the predecessor to Office 2004.

All software products have a life cycle, which is essentially the length
of time that they support before being so old they're not usable. Office
X's life cycle was officially ended last January, more than five years
after its introduction. I'm not surprised that the Holidays file doesn't
extend into 2008.

I'm not very familiar with Entourage X so I'm not sure if the idea for
creating a .rge archive will work for you. If you are able then I highly
recommend updating to a newer version of Office. You can track their
life cycles here <http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifeselectindex>.

FYI, Office 2004's product life cycle is scheduled to end next year.
