Entourage 2008 and Download Pictures in Emails

In Entourage 2004, pictures in e-mails were automatically downloaded if the domain was included in "Safe Domains" in "Junk E-mail Protection".

I have now upgraded to Entourage 2008 and, even though the Safe Domains transferred over, I now see the yellow bar with the "Download pictures" link in all e-mails with pictures unless the sender is in my Address Book (per the Security Preference setting, which only has Never, From Address Book, or All). As many of these e-mails are newsletters, etc., I don't want them filling up my Address Book.

Is anyone aware of a way to have it look into the Safe Domains to see if pictures should be downloaded?

No. you must add them to your Address Book. I don't understand your concern
about them filling up your Address Book. If you assign a category to them
and your other contacts, viewing contacts will be easy.

Thank you for your reply. My concern about them being in my Address Book is that such things as newletters aren't "contacts" and I don't particularly want these in my address book. I am surprised that the "safe domains feature" (i.e., if it is safe domains, it would download the pictures) was is in the previous version and now has been taken out. In addition, now I have to begin populating all of these into my address book after it taking quite a while to get them all into safe domains.

Could there be a way to download pictures using a rule, i.e., download pictures for e-mails not in the Junk E-mail folder?

I have a category called Newsletters. A contact is anyone that sends you
email.

If you look at the actions and criteria in Rules you will see that is not
possible. You can continue to click on download pictures, or add them as
they come in to your Address Book.

I had saved all Newsletter senders in my Adressbook in Office 2004 and the Downloading worked beautifully but since I installed Office 2008 this feature does not work anymore... what am I doing wrong??
