Entourage 2008 Continues to Crash Several Times a Day

When is MS going to fix Entourage? It ran great for months and months, then about two months ago it began to crash at random for no apparent reason. I could be checking emails in different folders, suddenly the spinning beach ball would appear and Entourage would go down while the error reporting module would appear and zap off its report to who knows where.

My system is fully updated otherwise.

What's problem here? Can it be fixed? Is there a patch or update coming? This is highly annoying.

When you say your system is fully updated, does that include the latest
version of Entourage 2008, version 12.1.7?

Hi Ed,

Yes, my entire OS has been updated as has my Office software. I run updates regularly and did the 12.1.7 update last week.

Thanks,
Geoff

Everyone is not having this problem. Most likely it's something in YOUR
setup.

Steps to help determine where the problem is located.

1) you can eliminate your Identity by creating a new Identity in Entourage
and see if you experience the same problem.

2) if a new Identity still exhibits the same issues, then create a new User
in System Preferences and test Entourage there.

3) If the problems still exist in the new User, it's a problem with your
Office install or your base OS files. If running the Apple combo does not
fix, then you might need to do an "Archive & Install".
