Entourage 2008 EWS, Exchange 2007 cannot synch all Inbox emails

I have a user with a very large Inbox on our Exchange 2007 server,
with approximately 35,500 items as of this writing.

Said user is VERY insistent on using Entourage 2008 with Web Services,
however I cannot get Entourage to retrieve all Inbox messages. After
a 12-hour load, Entourage is about 900 messages short. It will
continue to retrieve incoming new email and the total message count in
Entourage will climb upwards day by day, yet it will always be about
900 messages below the actual count on the Server.

If I set up a test profile on a Windows PC using Outlook 2007, every
message is available: However many messages in Exchange are present
for the user will also be available in Outlook 2007.

Mac/Entourage specs:
Macbook Air, upgraded to Snow Leopard and fully patched
MS Office 2008 with Entourage EWS, fully patched

Server:
SBS 2008 Premium, fully patched
Exchange 2007, sp1

Select the root of the account in Mail view and ctrl-click it.
Select Properties and from there you should get the possibility to
trash your Exchange cache.
Entourage will then redownload everything, but with a bit of luck,
it'll then get it all,
