Hi everyone,

Is there a way to add/set the From; field in Entourage to permit users to
send as a distribution list name? As a example I would like (e-mail address removed) to
send as (e-mail address removed) distribution list name.

How can we acheive this in Entourage 2008?

Create a "send only" account, i.e., one that is not included in your
Send/Receive schedule. Choose that account to send from on the From
drop-down list at the top of the message to be sent.

Well it all depends as how you send e-mails.
Usually, through an Exchange server it's not possible.
I did that in the past setting up a bogus POP account. I entered
settings that I knew wouldn't work for POP, a proper SMTP setting and
entered the From field as I needed it to be.
You then need to exclude this from regular receive schedules and that's
it.
Now you can send through that account.
