Entourage 2008, Gmail Imap, will not create a folder with theEntourage "Create SubFolder" Command

I have setup Gmail for Imap access, and configured the client to hook
into Gmail using the very helpful Entourage Help website.

However when the user goes to create a folder in Entourage, we get an
error saying that it can't do it.

Any ideas? Any suggestions?

I will have to post the specific error number I am getting in another
post. The system is home with the owner at that this point.

Finally we are using Mac OS X 10.5.8, Entourage 2008 w/ all updates.

Any help would be appreciated.

This isn't a problem that's been reported. I'm guessing it's permissions in
the Gmail account setting although I don't ever remember seeing this option
though but it's entirely possible I've overlooked it.

Diane,

Yesterday it started working... go figure... Now the user can create
folders in Entourage 2008 when before she could not.

Very strange....

Let's just be thankful for small favors. Would be nice to know what
happened. Let us know if you ever find an answer.
