Since V13 doesn't support Exchange 2003, how can I roll back Entourage to an earlier version if it shipped with V13?

To date, Office 2008 does not ship with Entourage 13.0.0. You can only
download and install it.

You'll need to use the Remove Office tool in the Microsoft Office 2008
folder and then install from your original installer.

Hope this helps!

The Business Edition of Office 2008 includes Entourage EWS for those who are
still using Office 2004.

If you already have Office 2008, you can download the Web Services version
update of Entourage 2008:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/8/5/9857705B-2510-47EB-A00C-125F6D4
297FB/EWS-1300-EN.dmg

Note that you must go through the set up process after the upgrade to
"IMPORT from Entourage 2008" when you run EWS the first time after
upgrading. The identity must be imported.

Also I believe EWS works only with Exchange 2007 with at least rollup 4.

Good question. The best (and Microsoft) solution would be to upgrade to
Exchange 2007 but I realize that is not possible. I don't believe there is
a way to down-grade other than to get a copy of the older Office 2008 DVD
and then remove Office 2008 and re-install with the older Office 2008 DVD.

It appears that anyone who purchases Office 2008 Business Edition (which
comes with version 13) will have an unusable Exchange email client if that
person is dealing with an older and incompatible Exchange 2003 server.
Hmm... To add to the fun, the Home Edition of Entourage does not come with
any Exchange support.

Microsoft should provide a down-grade path for Entourage 2008 for Exchange
2003 users and does not as far as I know.
