Entourage archive (rge) file

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I am trying to open an rge archive file in Entourage. Is there any way to simply open, NOT import, the data? I don't want the data to be imported and then pushed back to my exchange mailbox. thanks.

Create a new identity and close the automatic setup assistance. Now import the .rge file.
