Entourage Crashes

When I leave my office which has an ethernet connection and come home with
my powerbook and forget to change location entourage crashes on opening. I
mean really crashes you cant even force quit. You have to power off, (big
no no with os x) and do a single user bood and ck the disk.
I guess I could remember to change my location but that is really annoying.
It would not be so bad but sometimes a reminder pops up before I can change
location. I am using a proxy server at the office which might cause some
unusual issues but I would not think so.
