First of all the AutoUpdater will download the file, but it's up to the user
to select Continue.

Did you quit all applications before running the updater?

I opened up the program to discover that all my data is missing.

What do you mean "all my data"??
The user account is empty?? The Documents folder is empty??
Entourage doesn't load your identity??

The updater doesn't touch your data. It simply updates the application.
It is possible that you have a problem on your hard drive. Did you move
the MIcrosoft User Data fodler out of the Documents folder?? THat would
also confuse Entourage.

After reboot, Entourage opened like I've never been there. All my emails, tasks, calendars, etc. were gone. Pretty much my "identity" was missing. I searched in all my files/folders/directories and nada.

Yes, it is possible that I have a problem on my hard drive. Unlikely, yet possible. No, I did not move any folders outside of the MUD folder.

Sorry for not being specific, I was a little pissed at the time I wrote the post. Hope you understand. Thank you all for your responses, as it helps me confirm that I was not the culprit.

Cheers!

Normally, when your data goes missing it¹s user error however, other things
can cause it to disappear. From what you are describing 'lost & found' might
be your only option.

Some times things just go poof and are gone. iMovie crashed one time and I
lost an entire project. Luckily I had a backup.

Let us know if you find it.

I have the same problem, and I am almost certain it was not user error or a problem with my HD. It happened after the most recent patch.
