Entourage email accounts

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I am switching to a pop account from and imap account with a different ISP on entourage. I deleted the imap accounts and tried to create 2 new pop accounts. They will not show in the left column on my entourage screen. All of the emails only appear in the "On MY Computer" section. The different accounts are not there. I recently updated to 12.2.0. I don't know if that could be related.

That's the way it should be for POP accounts.
IMAP e-mails are stored online and mirrored in Entourage. That's the
reason why you see them separate on the left-side panel.

POP accounts are downloaded on the computer and deleted from the server.
They are supposed to go to the On My Computer section.

As Corentin explained POP all goes to the Inbox folder.

See this page for Inbox views. Check out the rule to move each account to
it's own Inbox.

If you really want to, you CAN force Entourage to put POP accounts in the
folder list (at least E 2004).
In Account Settings, double-click on the account, and select
the options tab. Check the box labeled
Allow online access (shows account in folder list)

You can then access the account directly on the server. That's only useful,
of course, if you have your POP account set to leave messages on the server
rather than deleting them when it downloads them to your computer. As
Corentin explained, deleting them is the default behavior.
